Privacy

Temcare is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information that directly or indirectly identifies a person. It is further committed to those privacy principles and requirements outlined in relevant legislation. Temcare nevertheless has a legal, ethical and practice responsibility to report and/or share information with relevant authorities in those circumstances where it believes a crime has been committed, or an adult and/or child is at significant risk of physical, emotional, and/or sexual harm. Temcare is also obligated to report all allegations of inappropriate behaviour by staff, Board members or volunteers, as defined by the Victorian ‘Reportable Conduct Scheme’, to the ‘Commission for Children and Young People’.
